People define success in life differently. Some people define it as the accumulation of wealth, while others define it as having the opportunity to do what they love for the rest of their life. Alex Pall of the Chainsmokers is having it all. He is earning from his passion for music.
Alex Pall’s love for music began when he was young. He grew up DJing. He was always passionate about it. He was DJing in New York, and he also had a career. After self-evaluation, he realized that he was spending a lot of time pursuing his hobby. In a big place like New York City, people do not have the liberty to spend time pursuing their hobby; they are supposed to be busy looking for money to pay their bills.
Nevertheless, Alex Pall decided to give his passion a chance. He was still working with the manager he is working with today. After he decided to give his music passion a larger portion of his life, the manager introduced him to Drew. Drew came from Maine, and they got to work immediately.
Pall says that when he saw Drew, he immediately knew that they could hit it off. He explains that they had the same quest. They were both ready to give it what it was it needed to get it right. They also shared their childhood stories, which helped them draw a lot of similarities in their life.
At first, they were only meeting once in a while to know the progress of each other, but after some time, they began meeting every day, from morning to evening. This was to give them enough time to improve on their abilities because the industry was competitive, and they knew they had a lot to do.
All these efforts have come to fruition because the Chainsmokers are now reaching a bigger audience. They just dropped their hit song “Closer” which they collaborated with Halsey, the famous female pop star. This was an exciting experience for the Chainsmokers because they had Halsey as their number one list of the artists they wanted to work with; it was one goal accomplished.
